The Real Reason You Feel Overwhelmed (And What To Do About It)
Let me ask you something…
Have you ever walked into a room, looked around, and just felt… tired?
Not because you did anything physical.
But because something in that space was draining you.
That, my friend, is clutter.
And I want you to hear this clearly: clutter is not just the pile in your closet or the papers on your desk. It’s everywhere. It’s in your mind. Your emotions. Your habits. Your calendar. Your spending. Your relationships.
Clutter is anything that takes your energy without giving anything meaningful back.
And yes… It’s literally costing you your peace, your time, and your money.
In fact, one study shared in the Clutternomics training revealed that 77% of clutter impacts productivity, 63% affects your state of mind, and 53% impacts motivation.
No wonder you feel stuck some days.
Clutter Isn’t Just Stuff. It’s a System.
When I teach Clutternomics, one of the first things I say is this:
You don’t have a clutter problem.
You have a clarity problem.
Because clutter shows up in layers.

There’s mental clutter. Those looping thoughts, limiting beliefs, and “blah blah blah” stories running in the background of your life.
There’s emotional clutter. Old resentment, guilt, or things you haven’t forgiven yet that are quietly draining you every single day.
There’s physical clutter. The things you keep “just in case” that are actually keeping you stuck in the past.
And then there’s time clutter. The hours lost scrolling, searching, procrastinating.
All of it adds up.
All of it creates noise.
And all of it blocks abundance.
The “Dam” That’s Holding Your Life Back
Here’s one of my favorite ways to explain this.
Clutter creates a dam.
And behind that dam?
Your opportunities. Your clarity. Your next level.
The moment you clear even one thing… that dam starts to break.
And suddenly, things start flowing again. Ideas. Energy. Opportunities. Even income.
I’ve seen it happen over and over again.
One small action. One drawer. One decision.
And everything begins to shift.
That’s not magic. That’s momentum.
The Simplicity That Changes Everything
Now here’s the part most people miss…
This is not complicated.
You don’t need a weekend. You don’t need a system with 42 steps.
You need consistency.
Start with one hour.
One small “zone.”
That’s it.
And while you’re at it, try this mantra with me:
“Touch it once.”
Handle it. Decide. Move it. Done.
Because every time you touch something five times instead of one, you’re leaking energy.
And energy, my friend, is everything.

You’re Not Letting Go of Things… You’re Becoming Someone New
One of the most powerful shifts I see in people is this:
Decluttering is not about getting rid of things.
It’s about letting go of who you used to be.
When you release the clothes, the habits, the patterns, the beliefs…
you’re making space for the next version of you.
And that version?
Has more clarity.
More peace.
More time.
More abundance.
My Final Thoughts
If you take nothing else from this, take this:
Clutter is not your enemy.
It’s your teacher.
It’s showing you exactly where you’re out of alignment, where you’re holding on, and where you’re ready to grow.
So instead of asking, “Why do I have so much clutter?”
Ask a better question:
“What is this trying to teach me?”
Because on the other side of that answer…
is your freedom.
And trust me… it’s a beautiful place to live.
